Have just started building my tree and the Brindleys were/are related to my ex-husband, and they have always believed to be descended from the famous engineer James Brindley.

Have you see the post from David Brindley also from 2003?

Looking to build my family tree. I am apparently related to James Brindley of Staffordshire. My mother's maiden name was Brindley and i am looking to meet with relatives of Elijah Brindley of Rugeley or Armtage Staffordshire.
