Hi Abbie,
I too am struggling for info on James Cockburn, born in Glasgow 1857, occupation Iron Moulder, moved to Hardingstone Northants as a lodger as shown on the 1881 census aged 24 years.

hi abbie my grandad was born in edmund street glasgow in 1893 im also trying to trace any relatives of his. his name was david cockburn. his dads name was charles.
