Hello Nicolette,
My name is John Hawkins. My family lived Milborneport. Horsington, Corton Denham Charlton
Horethorne. between 1532 and1850's after this they were found in Hadspen (Pitcombe) near Bruton. In Pitcombe my ggrandfather married a Sarah Greenstock her father was a farmer in Hadspen.
Her brothers were James b 1817,William b 1820.
Sarah b 1824 married Uriah Hawkins and had 4 children John, William, Sabina and Francis.
William was my Ggrandfather.
In the late 1800's there were only about 180 Greenstocks in UK and almost all of the were within a few miles of Templecombe. They were probably all related. which would make me a cousin.
I am very interested in your tree and would like to trace it back to mine. please let me have any info. my address is [email protected]
looking forward to hearing from you
John Hawkins
