You don't say where your family is from, this would help as a start. I have a "house family tree" website on Yahoo and Google and I have been a researcher of this line for the last 17 years. It's a good starting point. If you wish to contact me I maybe able to help you further. You can find my email address on my website or just reply here. I would be happy to help you further.
I have House family from Brockenhurst, Hampshire 1800-1900's and before that from Newbury and Reading and before that Halton, Buckinghamshire back to 1536. I have alot of contacts who maybe your distant cousins.
I have a message board on my website as well if you wish to leave a request for information from other researchers.
If you want the help I will try my best to try and help you further than what you already have.

Hi my name is Sarah House I've only just started my family tree and i would really like to hear from anyone that might have any connectionsmy great gran was called sarah house,my grandad was matthew he married emily who had 6 children-joan olive ronald john george & my dad mervyn.
