I have not found any French connections (yet) in the family
My mums family are the Cholertons She had brothers Ken & Cliff Her name was Edith
My grandparents were George and Louisa and his second wife was Ruth

As far as I am aware my great great grandparents moved to England from France. There are only a small number of people in England with the name Cholerton and they are probably descended from the French. I think that we originated in the Modlands (Derby) and would be interested to trace people descended from this line.
