Member Since: October 2006 Posts: 1 Send Message	There are Whittakers here in NZ - probably the best known would be the firm of J.H. Whittaker, who make chocolate - I would imagine they have a website. I know they originated from England and I think that the company has existed for about a hundred years. There are other Whittaker's, but how many have been here for more than a couple of generations I do not know - but having a look at the shipping lists for emigration to NZ after the 1860's might yield some answers for you. I am a Whittaker, but only been in NZ for 30 years and all my relatives are UK, so I do not know anything more that might help you. Helen Woods in NZ
