Hello, I am searching on my mother-in-laws behalf, trying to find her roots, so she can finally feel content knowing where she comes from. we've got as far back as her Grandfather 'Henry Gray', born in 1880, died in 1957. He married, but unfortunately we don't know her name. However, they had 9 children by the names of; Arthur, Gordon, Frances, Martha, Mariah-helen, Edna, Annie, Phyllis and another son that we think is called Abraham, though affectionately called 'Abe'. They rooted down in the Leicestershire area we think, as my mother-in-law is the daughter of Edna, and cannot recall her mother living anywhere far from there. She did say that her bloodline was 'Romany Gypsie'. If anyone could help me on this, i would be ever so grateful. kind regards, Kerry. |
