Hello, My gt grandfather was called John Woodings. He married Hannah Stafford in 1881.(Tutbury Staffs) Found him in 1871,1881, & 1891 censuses but not in 1901. His marriage cert gives his father as John Woodings. The 1871 census and 1891 census appear to indicate his mother was called Ann Woodings and she may not have married. Ann born in Newborough Staffs c1835. Census returns give him as being born at Yoxall Staffs around 1863 but Lichfield RO have no trace. John & Hannah had 5 children. Are there any descendants out there or any budding Sherlocks who can give me a clue. Thanks for reading this..........................David
