Hello

I have only just started my tree & my Nan was a Tear from Lambeth her name was Amelia Tear (known as Millie) her father was Walter Tear she had 2 sisters Alice & Charlotte (Lottie) & 3 brothers Harry, Robert(Bob) & Alfred(Alf). They moved to Downham in the 1920's I think.

Hi - just started to try and trace the history of the Tear family from around London areas. I so far know of a Joseph Tear (known to the family as Jack) who used to live in Bethnal Green around 1941 before the family was bombed out of house, and one of his sons Henry Alfred Tear (known as Harry), born 1915 in Lambeth area. If either of these ring any bells with anyone I'd be pleased to hear from you!
