I'm trying to find John Alderson,(my great grandfather) born possibly around 1880 in the Durham area. He married Bridget Ann Carling on the 30th January 1904 and they had three children, Wilfred Aloysius 1905, Huebert Austin 1907 and John 1913. After they married they lived at No.15 Lydia Street Willington. I would like a date and a place of birth, if anyone could help me I would be very grateful. Regards Iain Alderson

Iain,

My grandfather (Henry Alderson) and gt grandfather (Charles Henry Alderson) also lived in Lydia Street Willington. This was around the turn of the century (1900). I know that on 27/02/1906 Charles Henry Alderson died in this house. Charles' father was called John Alderson, b 1827 and married Elizabeth Stuart.

Robert.
