I AM TRYING TO FIND ANY OF MY RELATIONS FROM MY FATHERS SIDE OF THE FAMILY. HIS NAME IS RICHARD RAVENSCROFT, BORN IN THE 1940'S,LIVED IN NORTH MANCHESTER WITH MY MOTHER, MARGARET CASEY 37YRS AGO, THEY HAD FOUR CHILDREN TOGETHER. WE NEVER KNEW ANY OF HIS FAMILY, HE MAY HAVE SISTERS, CHRISTINE AND CAROL, BROTHER OR FATHERS NAME POSSIBLY GEORGE, MOTHER JOAN. HIS FAMILY BELIEVED TO HAVE COME FROM CHESHIRE. DETAILS ARE NOT EXACT AS I KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT THEM. IF ANYONE CAN HELP PLEASE GET IN TOUCH. |

Deborah, you need first to either look at his death certificate or order a copy this will give you his birth date. Once you find that you can find his birth certificate you will have the names of his parents. You can then search for the marriagee of his parents. This is the start of the search back into the past. |
