My grandmother was born Edith Annie Henshaw in Chorlton, Lancashire on 25th December 1892. She had a sister Lillian (known, I think as Lily) and a brother Jack. Her father was Joseph Henshaw, a Carter, born I believe in Manchester in 1865/66 and her mother Ellen (nee Colley) born I believe in in 1868/9. Joseph and Ellen were married in 1889. They both lived in Chorlton. Any information about the family would be much appreciated. Edith died in February 1970. Thanks |
