ScotlandsPeople also list one Dominic McDonald death between 1886 and 1910 That was returning all forenames that begin with these characters but none shown if you do exact match Maureen

ScotlandsPeople gives one match for James Patrick McDonald born between 1886 and 1888. No credits left. You would need 6 - 1 to do the search and 5 to view the image. 30 credits cost £6 No matches if you use MacD Maureen

I would much appreciate someone looking up anything to do with my Grandad. He was James Patrick MacDonald (or a variant of that surname Macdonald/McDonald etc ). He was born in Greenock in 1887. His father was Dominic/Dominick, a sailor. According to my grandfather's marriage certificate, Dominic was already deceased in 1911 when JP got married to my grandmother in Wales. I have everything to do with that. It states that James Patrick was 24 when he got married in September 1911. I have a strong feeling that I am looking at Irish Ancestry here. By the way I cannot find anything online about his birth at all or that of Dominic. This is just in the hope that someone can guide me in the right direction. Thanking you
