hi julie the only marriage i can find is, thos forrester stone labourer and ann goodwin sp, lic. wit wm goodwin stoke parish register, do you know ann's maiden name at all, i have these poss children in bucknall let me know if they ring a bell, mary 1789, shewzana 1797, mary 1789, ann 1795, charlota 1803, thomas 1806, burial thos 1806, thos forrister potter and ann davenport both of stoke wit wm hill, richd rhead, 24th april 1791 newcastle under lyme. regards jackie.

julie sorry forgot to say where they baptised, all of the children i have given you were baptised at the same chapel, bucknal chapel, bucknall-cum-bagnall parish registers. jackie.

Hi Jackie, Many thanks for looking. The only thing I have on them is from Marys baptism. I found this and her siblings on IGI. A contact on here has the marriage to ann goodwin and two other children, a Harriet and Jane born ten years before Mary. They have not got back to me with details of their findings. With two children already and living in the parish, I wonder why they would need a special lic. Julie

Hi Jackie, thanks for your kind offer.... not sure if i have the right area though, am sure you will be able to tell me, lol i have William Saunders ( sometimes Sanders !!) b c1791 in Yoxall, Staffs, i know he married Louisa Wetton 1811 in Abbots Bromley and they went on to have 11 children - 8 of them having the middle name of Avarne, and 1 had it as a first name, so would really like to know if Williams mothers name had anything to do with this tradition, think i have Louisa's family and not found it there yet!! hope you can find something Jane

hi i was wondering if you would be able to find out who the parents of clifford sidney went (born in 1913) were and also what year he got married to elsie ? sorry dont know her surname but they had a son clifford sidney went 2 in 1933

If you have the time and stuff could you possibly look up May Ramsell.

She was born 05.10.1922 and had two sisters Rose and Janet.

Looks like they were all born in Hanley, Stoke On Trent.

Any info would be very much appreciated as we know nothing about my maternasl grandmothers side of the family
