Find Ancestors

Hi Kerri Thanks ever so much for the information, I have been trying to trace my Embelton ancestors for over a year now. The surname variation has made it extremely difficult as on George Embelton Jnr's marriage certificate it shows his mother's maiden surname spelt Wilkinson. Did George Embelton & Mary A Wilkerson marry at Ballarat, Vic and were their 10 children born at Ballarat? I know George Embelton Snr emigated from the UK and he arrived in Australia about 1854 but I have no idea where and when Mary A Wilkerson was born so could you look up the Vic births for a Mary A, I guess she would have been born around 1862-1864. Hi Kerri, Could you look up a birth in Victoria for me? I have a George Peter Dabinett, also known as William George Dabinett, who was married in NSW in 1883 and died there in 1928. According to his death certificate he was born in Huntley, Victoria c1860 (he was 68 when he died), and his father's name was George, but I've checked the online BMD for Victoria and I can't find a birth for him. I did find the marriage in 1857 of George and Elizabeth Dabinett, who I think may be his parents. Another contact believes that George was born in Epsom, Victoria. Alternative spellings are Dabinet and Dabnett. Thanks a lot, Mary

Hi Lilly Looks like a few families of Erwoods came to VIC. Only immigration found was T.S.Erwood (adult)arrived Aug 1854 on ship Golden Age Births to children of Edward Erwood & Margaret Ann Oakley from 1871-1883.
