Thanks Suzanne - WOuld you be able to look up Joseph Gibbs in the 1891 please? He would be about 4 at the time. Oh, would you be able to recheck the RAF database for Joseph Gibbs - my grandfather sometimes went by his middle name.

Hi Julie, the site is very much the same as ancestry when it comes to BMD's before 1866 so I would proably be duplicating your efforts. I will say that the ancestry partial index doesnt cover the following for marriages very well so a check in the ancestry FULL index will be needed if not already done so: 1853 Sept 1/4 1856 1860 If still not found after trawling the Full index Im afraid I dont know what else to suggest. Suzanne X

Thanks for the offer Suzanne, please could you lokk up 2 deaths for me. They are for FRED APPLEYARD C1893 & POLLIE APPLEYARD C1904. Both were born in Barton upon Humber, which is in Glanford Brigg District and I was told that they both died as children, although Fred was alive in the 1901 census. Their parents never moved, so the deaths should be in Glanford Brigg. Many thanks in advance. Lynn
