Hi all, Having just joined Ancestry I think it's time to do unto others what many kind GR members have previously been doing unto me. Please bear in mind that my time is not limitless so if I get swamped with requests I'll have to turn some down, but as long as numbers remain reasonable I'll do my best to respond to all of them. Michael ***NO MORE REQUESTS FOR THE MOMENT PLEASE, WILL RE-OPEN WHEN I'VE CAUGHT UP WITH THOSE I'VE ALREADY GOT***

Hi Michael, Thanks very much for the offer. William WYNNE (Surgeon) born about 1815 in London. Could have been listed back then as either Middlesex, Surrey or Kent. His wife was Sarah Esther (nee Cardinal) who died in 1849. William remarried to Mary Anne Sharp in 1851. Cannot locate William on any of the normal available census and also their youngest son Watkin b.1846 Rotherhithe, London. Any information for either William or Watkin would be very much appreciated. Cheers, Fran Wynne

Hi Thanks for the offer. My grandfather was a thomas patrick frederick staveley born 1920 bermondsy. (although some army records state 1919), so far i cant find his birth registered anywhere. His mothers maiden name was styles or stiles we believe, and she died ealry on in my grandfather life, this unfortunately is all we know about her. His dad is Thomas Frederick Staveley (although on my grandfathers army records he is names as TF Johnson Staveley !?!) he died appox 1966? somewhere in England. Sorry i know this is a long shot! My grandfather had 4 siblings Ann, Eileen, Johnny and James(jimmy) all younger than my grandfather. Any information you could provide would be more than appreciated as my grandfather has provided me with a real mystery! Thanks for your time. Jane

Dear all, Sorry, I've been a bit busy the last few days, I will try to catch up with requests over the next day or two. Please note that BMD records are free to view on Ancestry, so please don't ask me to look up something you could just as easily do yourself. I am far from being an expert on family history; I've been researching for under a year and may well know considerably less about it than you. The only advantage I have is Ancestry membership, which allows access to censuses and other records, but has no effect on my ability to look up BMDs. Michael
