Hi Betty, have looked for Thomas' death, there are tens of them in that area of that age! I lloked on freebmd which doesnt cost anything. You might be able to spot him in there somewhere! Good luck and sorry I couldnt be more help xx

Hi Maureen, theres only one death for a Hornsby in Croydon between those years and she was in her sixties (on freebmd) have you tried 1837 online? L xx

Hi Laura, its a young female child I am definitely looking for, she was born after my dad who was born end of 1909, and the story goes that he was carrying her (he apparently felt he was was too young to) and he banged her head, she died shortly after (possibly not for that reason, who knows and no idea of timespan). So I imagined that he would have been probably under 6 yrs old. Thanks for trying. She wouldnt have shown up on any census as she wouldnt have been born by 1901. Off to bed now, if you are free another time and find anything then please pm me.
