Perhaps Jane died after Hannah's birth, but before 1851 census.........and George re-married......... Or do you have info about her death which precludes that scenario? Reg |

Thanks to everyone for their replies. Will have to address it again in a couple of days as have just got home from hospital (its 1.30am here) as my Dad collapsed while we were out and is in hospital. Robyn NZ |

Thanks for that Reg Yes that seems to muddy the waters well. I have asked my cousin to fish out Hannah's birth cert and hopefully I will get it in a couple of weeks if he hasnt misplaced it, otherwise I will have to start again. Thanks once again to everyone Robyn NZ |
