So your GF was born around 1924. You need to find his Birth entry on the 1837online website, send for the certificate, which will hopefully give his Fathers name. I'm surprised your GF hasn't got a copy of his Birth Cert .... if he has, then the chances are his Father isn't named .. which means you have very little chance of ever finding out the name. Dates / years would help. If its anytime around 1901 then we can search for the families on 1901 census. If your looking for info on births or marriages after 1920 then you need 1837online. Have you search the family tree's on this site ? to see if anyone else is researching the same families ? (Left hand side column - under FIND YOUR FAMILY - Search Family Trees -) Elaine ;-) |
