Jane Have you checked any records yourself? freebmd has images in addition to transcribed records If you have him on 1881 census, what does he state his birthplace to be? Reg |

Thanks guys, not sure that he's a Cornwall man though ... he appears as a tailor in London from 1881 onwards. On his marriage cert, he states that his father was George and his father's occupation was carpenter. Are there any others, can you see? Regs Jane |

Could someone please do a quick look-up for George William (or William George) SANDY being born on 23 May 1858 or 1859? We have a listing in a family bible, hence knowledge of the date but have been unable as yet to find the official record of his birth. Thanks in advance. Regs Jane |
