Thanks Georgina - have pm'd you with address. London one looks like the best bet - Brightlingsea one is out for sure and yorks is last resort. My other option is to search deaths from 1891 to 1901 and make sure nothing nasty has happened to her - will do that B4 going for marriage cert - once I find the marriage

Bu**er George Langmead married Sarah SMITH Dec 1901 so that one's ruled out

Peter I have looked at all the Sarah Nurse marriages between 1891-1901 and tried every male surname with Sarah born Essex 1867+/- 2 years and nothing obvious is showing up sorry. Cant seem to find a death either. Georgina.

The missing Sarah Nurse is in the 1901 census as Sarah Nur..(I did a search on Sarah NUR* and she came at the top of the list!!!!) Would someone be kind enough to look it up and give me the address and the household Thanks for all the help with this oone Peter

Not at the moment, thanks. This rounds off everything except Elizabeth's maiden name, which I should get this week when her marriage cert arrives!! Next plan will be to start building the family through the next hundred years - but that will be neither quick nor cheap - I just wish I could find one member of the family that was researching - I now have them all from the original Thomas Nurse in 1704 to 1901, except for one who married and went to South Africa where I haven't yet traced her.
