Could any of you nice people look up this lady for me and find out who her parents are and her brothers and sisters.Doris linda Harvey born 13-9-1903 in Poole,DorsetThis is my husbands grandma and she is still going strong and was 102 this year,but understandably the memory is going.

Does she not have a marriage certificate? What was her husbands name? Where did they marry? Doesnt hubby's parents have any details at all? You would need to get her birth certificate/marriage certificate for that - you may be lucky if some kind soul will look up the reference for you to buy the cert.

I think i would proberly have to get my husbands father to do that,He might be able to find it.

If she is the paternal gran, she must then have the same married name as your husband and her son - I take it Harvey is her maiden name? If it is her married name then have a look at her sons birth cert it will give her maiden name and then you can trace her birth reference. On her marriage certificate you will have the couples fathers' names and occupations. At that point you can start using the 1901 census to trace backwards, through certificates.

She was married to a Roderick Harrison Hazzard.The problem we have is grandma is in a nursing home and we all live hundreds of miles away.

Harvey is her maiden name.I did find a percy Harvey born 1878,but not too sure if that is her father.

Roderick harrisons father was called John Hazzard and they came from Sherbourne.I think he was born abt 1877.
