Lou, Just some info please: Can you search for possible births before 1920 WITHOUT using units ? ... I'm wondering if the search is FREE but to view the actual records you have to use a unit ? Am I correct ? Have you decided on renewal or not yet ? Elaine :-)

You can search for possible births and it will tell you how many hits there are without using any credits, yes Don't know what to do...soooooooo many people have sent me lovely messages asking me to reconsider, I never realised till now how many people knew who I was! L x

Your a popular lady ! thats for sure ! Like I said, £7.50 is cheap bearing in mind that you can use the boards if and when you want to !... but you don't have to if your really busy ! So: If I want to search for Births under Denshaw, using Mothers Maiden Name as Shawcross ... it would tell youhow many 'hits' there are for free ... but toview the actual details - THEN you would have to use the units ... is thiscorrect ? I've asked Tracy in Teeside to do a search for me, whilst I wait for FR to sort out my membership with them, but I'm slightlyworried that she would be 'paying'.
