on ancestry found some deaths of William Andrews Hampshire age range from 1920 they have also got birth dates do you know when he died? Jeanette

did your mum have any brothers or sisters perhaps search for their birth cert? jeanette

i know that the marriage certificate is right because my fathers name is on it, also her death certificate also has his name on as well, so that makes birth certificate definetely wrong. parents names on birth certificate are ALBERT ANDREWS and KATE ANDREWS NEE PIPER

How do you know that is her mother on wedding cert could be a sister of her fathers? and perhaps you have got the right birth cert as every thing else fits. what are the names on birth cert? Jeanette

Maybe if all else fails you should broaden your search a couple of years either side? Its well known that people sometimes either weren't sure what their age was or lied about it to get married etc and had to keep the lie up.

just looked on 1920 not good April-June there is 3 but can't make out cert ref as marks Gwendoline A Stout cricklade ?? 180 '' Simpson Lincoln ?? 993 '' Curtis Bradford ?? ??? can you not find her parents wedding that will tell you her mothers maiden name

sorry she is buried as gwendoline hill, died 24th august 1948 aged 29 years,about 1 month after i was born

gwendoline married my father 11th march 1944,on their marriage certificate her fathers name is deceased, so her mother signed the register

unusual for her mother to be named on a marriage cert - where and when did the marriage take place I' m a bit confused - you have a marriage cert for gwendoline Andrews AND a death cert for her - what name is she buried in please?

i do not have any other details about constance or henry thomas as yet , apart from the fact that he was deceased on her marriage certificate.both her marriage certificate and death certificate state her name as just GWENDOLINE ANDREWS so am assuming that she did not have a middle name
