Mark/Laura tried to send message earlier, but site froze! hate to add to confusion, but it might eliminate anthony his death is registered in Lancs, witnessed by son Patrick Fahey. there are quite a few Patrick Faheys in that county, one of whom (drat it ) married an Ellen. SO which Pat are we looking for, what definite info do we have (certs etc)-as Jess said, looks like a confusion of Faheys Sorry if this search is clear to everyone else, in which case I shall retire from the scene!!

Definite ifo... Patrick married Alice Tarbett 1863, father Anthony. (Def Alice according to marriage and sons birth) Guess the problem is finding them on census .

Hi Christine, still makes marriage, death and that census 20 years difference!!! Do you think they could get it that wrong??? Maybe his death is wrong? that leaves 1830/33 on marriage 1821 death 1841 census What do you reckon?

Hate to throw another spanner in the works but this is Patrick on 1891 census Fahey, Patrick abt 1814 Ireland Head Monk Hesledon Durham Fahey, Thomas abt 1872 Trimdon, Durham, England Son Monk Hesledon Durham on same page is Catherine and George Charlton Beth :)

Laura Report 29 Jul 2005 09:41

Poolie Girl

Poolie Girl Report 29 Jul 2005 09:58

How about this for a theory Patrick was much older than his bride so declared himself younger - satisfies marriage and 1871 census 1881 census - plain error 1891 census - now trying to give a true age 1895 Family's best guess at his age on death Beth :)
