Jess is this it? patrick fahey.1830 Ireland Galway Married alice tarbet in 1863 at ryton,co.durham 1881 census has him widowed and aged 40 and born in galway ireland. his father was called anthony but was deceased before 1863 In 1863 he was 33 death cert says he was 74 in 1895 (1821) MARK'S INFO * what are we looking for census ? and for who? father or son, or both?

Yeah, according to the 3 documents he has, his birth is 1821,1830 and 1840!!!

Does he KNOW he married Alice do-dah or is that the marriage he has found that fits? can we start with the 1901 that he knows is right, with however that is?

He has that, but on marriage in 1863, hes 33..1830 on death hes 74 in 1895...1821 census 1841

on childs birth, thats parents given, so thats pretty much correct.

I'm not convinced he has the bits petaining to the same man each time! it a difference of 20 odd years...

Thats them according to Matthews birth. Will check if Eliza had middle name of Ellen and when she died.

Hi, this all the info from other thread, going to ask Mark to come on here! do you have Patricks childs birth certificate? yes i have mathews birth cert he was born in1864 heddon on the wall Does that give Alice Tarbett as the mother? yes she is the mother What info is on Patricks death, does it give Alice as the wife? on alices death cert it says she died of phthisis pulmonolis and yes patrick was her husband Wahington Usworth Do you have Patricks death certificate? yes but its not a good copy it came from the genral office Does it mention Alice or the son on Patricks death?

Not sure that Ellen and Alice are same person, what do you think? Laura x

Looked at that 1881 census and all the family are there but its just Patricks age?

Mark, where was Alice born, does it say on her death certificate?

looking at patrick death cert it says that his son in law g charlton was preasent at death in shadforth in the district of saint nichols durham xx alice was born in stella

alices father was henry tarbet he was dead when they got married in 1863 and patricks father is down as anthony and he is also dead its like hitting a wall

Do you know if a daughter married a Charlton?
