Hi Trixie, I wonder if you could help me. I am looking for a William and Sarah Bevan in the Merthyr Tydfil area. William was a collier and i believe they were both born around 1820. They had been married since 1839 so they may of had children by this time but as yet i have no names for before 1859. In 1859 they lived in Pennydarren so hopefully this is where they may be in 1851. Apologies if this is not enough info, i know its not much to go on. so if theres heaps of William and Sarah Bevans i'll try again if i get a bit more info. Many thanks anyway Jackie.

Hi Cas, I have searched Taibach, Aberafon as a birth place and as a census place, I went through the alphabet searching all surnames beginning with A, B etc in case of mistranscription and still no sign of them there. Sorry i've not found them. Trixie
