Thanks all - Ive got all those now. Did anybody else get a weird link in Ancestry ? Try OSG* wildcard, and click on Henry OSG.... it takes you out into the boonies. Damn, where is Samuel and Harriet and kids Frederick and Samuel ? Here they are in 1891:- Name Age in 1891 Birthplace Relationship to head-of-house parish ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Osgathorpe, Fredrick 3 Paddington, Middlesex Son Paddington London Osgathorpe, Harriett 27 Kensington, Middlesex Wife Paddington London Osgathorpe, Samuel 29 Kensington, Middlesex Head Paddington London - > Osgathorpe, Samuel 5 St Hayward, Staffordshire Son Paddington London The Staffs pob is rubbish btw ! Hi I have found a family of Osgathorpes in London. Albert Osgathorpe 33 Paper Hanger Notting Hill, London Matilda Osgathorpe 32 Birmingham Robert Albert Osgathorpe 8 Hampstead, London Address in 1901 was 7 Pembridge Gardens, Kensington, London No Samuel in 1901 though, sorry. no samuel on 1901 ancestry. search for surname osg*e living county london gives 5 Sarah Osgathage 84 Not Stated St Marylebone London Albert Osgathorpe 33 Wotting Hill, London, England Kensington London Matilda Osgathorpe 32 Birmingham Swa Hill Kensington London Robert Albert Osgathorpe 8 Hampstead, London, England Kensington London Nellie Osguthorpe 26 Scarborough, Yorkshire, England Visitor Streatham London |

Surname Osgathorpe present in multiple families Notting Hill, Kensington, Paddington 1871, 81 and 91 ..... 1901 - totally gone. Its not the Notts or Yorks families. Specifically I need a Samuel Osgathorpe. I think theres a possible link error on Ancestry, cos clicking on a similar name pulled up a 'wildcard' error. Any help appreciated. |
