Hi Ann - thanks very much for the offer. Please could you check 1871 for James George MILLER, born c.1853/4 in Southwark/Blackfriars/St Georges based on info from other censuses. (I think he had a sister Emma Ann.) I have a birth certificate, giving father's name also as James George MILLER (sack collector). However, I'm not sure that this is the right person as my James' marriage certificate gives father as George James MILLER (bricklayer). Any info from 1871 which might help to eliminate or sort out whether the fathers are the same people would be much appreciated. Regards Sarah |

Diane, I looked on ancestry and there were 101 matches for Harrington on the 1891 for Monmouthshire. Is there a particular person you would like me to look for? Ann |

Hi Ann, I Would like some info on my g-grandmother Ethel May Lancashire b1900 possibly in Heanor, Derbyshire, the family moved shortly after she was born, so the Census records may say Meaden Bank (Nottinghamshire) (i've seen the census before with her name on it, but unfortunately the info was lost whilst moving) She had many brothers and sisters (i think one sister was Violet Lancashire, who was older), her Father was a miner and they also had a lodger (John??) living with them at the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Suzanne Harvey |

Hi ANN, You recently helped me with some research into a Elizabeth Warburton nee Dawson, and we needed confirmation of her father via a marriage cert, which has now arrived. Her fathers name was given as Samuel Dawson, occupation Butcher. TO recap,we know she married John Warburton 29/9/1884 the marriage being registered in the Toxteth Park area of Liverpool, her age being given as 19,her address given as 20 Cooper St (I don't know where for certain but would imagine it to be Toxteth) In the 1891 census they are living at 298 Mill street,Toxteth, Liverpool with children, states i believe, that she is 25 and was born Chester,Cheshire. In the 1901 census the family are now living at No1 Frank St, Toxteth,Liverpool.Elizabeth is now 34. I know that you had a list of 9 possibles to check but required the Fathers name, Regards Mike |
