margret sorry 1837 does not have fathers names you will only get the names and ocupation from the marriage certificate itself. If you order it from the gro with the reference you have got that should have all the details you need Good Luck:-)

Hi, Lynsey, Bit of a tall order so don't worry if you can't do it, but I am looking a Cowdrey, possibly Daniel, born 1941 or 42 in the Willesden/Brentford area. Again I'm not 100% sure of the date but it was after 1940 and before 1944. Many thanks Diane

hi marie marriage took place in blackburn in amj1914 ref no 8e927 You will get her fathers name and his fathers name off the actual certificate so this is the reference for ordering. it should also state her fathers occupation Good Luck :-)

victor, i have no idea where finsbury is, but i gather george was born in 1864/65, so here are all the georges i found George Charles JFM 1865 Liverpool 8b 59 George charles jas 1865 westbury s. 6a 206 " " " " " ostwestry 6a 661 " " " " " loughbro 7a 116 Andover 2c 196 Penrith 10b 376 OND 1865 Oswestry 6a652 Swansea 11a 539 JFM 1864 Camberwell 1d 520 AMJ 1864 Tauton 2c 452 Ond St Neots 3b 282 Hopefully you can narrow down these to the one you need. the only way to find his parents names is to order the certificate but as you can see there are alot over that 2 year period Good luck I hope these help:-)

Hi Lynsey. Thanks for your offer. I am trying to find a birth record for Richard Sharkey. According to the census records he would have been born around 1840-1841 in Lancashire. The census records give 3 different places of birth: Ashton under Lyne, Liverpool and Manchester. Thanks in advance Rose

nichola i checked for a lucy westhead death in 1950 and found 1 aged 63 9b 303. If this was her she would have been born around 1887/8. When i checked in these years i only found the one lucy kirkham a/m/j/ 1887 but she was registered in chorlton ref is 8c 730 hope this helps:-)

zoe, here are the catherines or kates i could find Catherine Cooley o/n/d 1849 wolverhampton 17 383 Kate emma cooley J/f/m 1849 wolverhampton XIII 427 Catherine Cooley j/f/m o/n/d/ 1851 Hailsham(?) VII 415 Hope one of these is her :-)
