Hi again "Mad Alice" I would love to take you up on the offer of a look-up at Norfolk. I'm looking a marriage between Robert Skinner and Mary Chittleburgh at Topcroft, Norfolk. Should be 1719. It is possible that the names were Robert Chittleburgh and Mary Skinner, but that's what I need to confirm. Please don't spend too much time on it though! Many thanks Paula |

I'm afraid I did not do as well as I would have liked to, and only found a couple of things I was asked to. Good job I don't try to make a living from this I'd be starving..... If you haven't been there the Records Office is really modern and well organised with helpful staff. If I'd had more time I would have stayed longer as i quite enjoyed the morning. I'm afraid I did not really have enough information for some of the look ups - really need a Parish in Norwich or village name in Norfolk. Just searchin Norwich is like looking for a needlle in a haystack. If I go again I'll post another message and if you have any more info by then I'll be happy to help! Linda |
