Hello, Know u r busy but was wondering if you would be able to look up Emily Colclough for me. Born in 1838 in Wolstanton, staffs. Might be related to Sabine born in 1839. Anything would be great. Many thanks becky

Liz, The whole of Tipton took me a whole afternoon/evening last time. If you have an address I can have a go at finding it, but there's no index of any kind and the streets are often split up so it's difficult. Liz

Hi Irene, The only TAYLOR family on Church Street belongs to Montague and Elizabeth Taylor. Julie - that would make him minus 1 in 1841 ;) I'm sure someone around here will look on the 1851 for you though.

Hi Suzanna, Sorry, I only have the 1841 Staffordshire census. You could start by looking for them on the 1901 census or looking for their marriage on the GRO index. Good luck!

hi im sorry to be askin you this as i can see you did get alot of response but would u be able to find a Charles Symes, and Lottie symes nee platt, my grandad doesnt no when they were born as they died in 1938-9 but my grandad was born in Longton Stoke on trent on the 28/09/1936 if you could find any info on my great grandparents or there family id be really gratefull,,,if u cant then thanks 4 reading this,,,,love suzanna

BRONWYN: Didn't find either name in Gillow Heath, but the other parts of Biddulph seem to be completely over run with Shufflebothams! If there are any particular Shufflebotham names you want me to look for let me know, but there are so many of them that it would take me hours to write them all down. Liz JOANNE: Where is Dawend? Hi Elizabeth Can you do a look up for Gillow Heath, Biddulph. I am looking for Thomas Tomlinson and his wife Sarah. they married in 1802 so would be 60ish. Would like the rest of their household. Not sure of the size of the place but on the assumption it is quite small, any other Tomlinsons you come across. Also any Shufflebothams in the same place. Thank you Bronwyn

CHERYL: I looked in Hamstall Ridware which was the only Hamstall I could find but didn't find them, sorry. Some of the pages are completely unreadable so they are probably there which only makes it worse. If Hamstall Ridware wasn't the right place let me know and I'll try again. Liz
