Hi James, The indexes only hold records between 1538-1840, so Walter wouldn't be on there. Checked the later years for Beckett in Ipswich but nothing after 1800. Debbie

Thank you very much for your help with my Mumfords. I don't know where my possible relatives got their information about the Mumfords, but it's nice to know it is correct. (It's a long story, but I haven't been able to find out who obtained the information.) With your help, my biggest brick wall now has a crack in it.

Hi Deborah I'm gobsmacked!! All those Vickerys you found! - This is great news for me - I'm going to hold on to all this information until I can get to the bottom of Charles Vickery's origins and marriage. Thank you ever so much for your kindness (and time). If you ever need a 1837 online look-ups - let me know. Wow!! Sally

Looking for details of the marriage between Hiram Pickles and Martha Schofield 5 Aug 1867 if that would give me some more details. I also have Thomas Pickles as his father married to Sally but can not find any more information. I think Thomas Pickles was a popular name so please dont waste any of your credits if you think it will use too many. All are from Lancs /Yorks depending on where you look. Gloria

Morning Debbie I wondered if you could help on a search for Rees Ashwell Morgan REES b poss 1813 Lanelli Brecon married Oct 1835 in Bristol to Harriet Wintle NASH. I'd like a search on both if at all poss and not too greedy. I know they had a daughter in Coleford Gloucestershire in 1836/39 Ellen REES. I'm trying to confirm a very old letter my mother in law has dated 1877 that Rees Ashwell Morgan REES is the illegitimate grandson of King George iv. Bit by bit the jugsaw is coming slowly ( over 6 yrs slowly lol) but surely. Any help would be most gratefully appreciated thank you so much. Much happiness Debi

Hi Christine, It acutally gives less info than you already have, as it only gives the year they were married, and the parish. But this does confirm the info you have been given is correct, as far as the year, so you could apply to the local RO for a copy of the parish record. (No certs this early on) Year Surname 1 Forename 1 Surname 2 Forename 2 Place County Index Misc 1798 MUMFORD JAS STUBBINGS MARY DUNMOW, GREAT ESSEX ESS Nothing for James & Sarah Debbie

Hi Deborah: Thank you very much for the offer of the lookup. I am interested in the marriage between James Mumford and Mary Stubbings. They should have been married 25-Sep-1798 in Dunmow, Essex. James' parents were James and Sarah Hutchin. May I ask for one more, please? James Mumford married Sarah Hutchin on 24-Feb-1767 in Dunmow, Essex. Thank you very much for your kind offer. Note: I was just reading your replies to others. If English Origins only gives the information I already have, please do not bother with the lookups. I was given this information by a possible relative and do not have any proof of their marriages or names of witnesses, which is what I'm looking for. Perhaps it would make more sense for me to send away (somewhere) for certificates?
