Hello thanks for your kind offer if you get time would you have a look for the following. William Edward T WARDEN British subject but working for Brocks Firework Co. around 1879 until his death a few years later. Married to Matilda but she was in England with their son William on the British Census of 1881, Their daughter Lilian was born 1884 at 319 Hudson Ave Brooklyn New York. Matilda remarried in 1891 so assuming he has passed away by then! I suspect it may miss the census dates but any info would be greatly appreciated. Penny

Hi Debra I wonder if you can help me. I am looking for my Great uncle Abraham Berk. I know he was living in Portland, Oregon on the 1930 US census, but don't know where he was living on previous ones. He was an immigrant from Russia, Jewish, and married a girl called Mary who was I think from Poland (also Jewish). He was 42 I think in 1930. I don't know if you can find him from this information, or if you need to know which State he was living in, but I thought I'd give it a go. I don't know if they had any children or not. Thanks, Lisa

Hi Debra Could you please look up William Tate and Sarah Jane Tate. They married in Burton Upon Stather in 1860 and then went to Missouri. Do not know exactly when. I have a birth of their first child as 9th Sept 1862 in Missouri. Unfortunately i have the same birth for her in Flixborough Lincs England. Sarah Jane was born in Burton Upon Stather in 26 Nov 1838 and William was born in Flixborough about 1832. I have a death for him as 2 April 1897 in Missouri. If you could find them it would help to clear up whether they stayed in England as i think or whether they did go to America. Thanks very much for your help. Jane

Hi Debbie, I wonder if you could look for an Alfred John Pillifant and his wife. I am not sure whether they were in America, but they are not to be found on the 1891 and 1901 census for UK, also by other records of Pillifants that have been found, I think it suggests, by the names that possibly a sister did emigrate. Alfred John was born in 1863 Topsham, Devon and he married in 1891/2, possible name of wife - Maud or Georgina - I am waiting for a marriage certificate, hoping to get some clues, but until then, Iam struggling and just looking for an answer, this is just a long shot! A lot of the present day Pillifants are in Ohio, but I can't as yet prove a link. Hope you may be able to help. Thanks, Paul C

Hi Deborah, Please look for William (John) Linden (could be Lindon, Lyndon or Lynden) who went to America sometime after 1884. He was born about 1858 but I don't know where. Also Benjamin (Edward) Linden, born Liverpool 1883. I think he went sometime before 1900 but came back to England at some point before he married in Manchester 1916 and then went back again. Many thanks, Lilian
