HI Emma, Wow...thanks! Never found that before - how did you search and get that result? Will have a look now and pass it on to my mother.(who was a Misy!) Anything else? Sam

Hi Emma, Would like to find out how she got to England, parents names etc, and where she lived and when she died. Did she have any more children, we know that she had a few then married a John Hart - then I lose track of her after the 1901 census. Sam

Sam, Searching after the 1901 census is probably more difficult than before. The census are subject to 100 years privacy so the next won't be available until 2011. You can search for births online at 1837 but without forenames or approximate dates of birth it would be very difficult to pinpoint any Hart births as your own. The same goes for deaths..unless you have an approximate date. Tracing births in France is also very difficult and I know nothing about that subject LOL! There is someone who uses these boards, I can't remember his name, unfortunately, who does know the process for attempting to trace genealogy in France, you could always put a message out to that effect. There are also electoral rolls which can be checked for your names post 1901 and these are held at libraries, I have never carried out an electoral register search and I'm not sure whether these are listed by name or address...but there will be someone here who does know. I'm sorry to be of no help all I can suggest is that you put a query on here asking for some ideas on searching post 1901. Emma.
