Thats why i dont think they are the correct Miles family (unless i have my dates completely wrong)!

Dorothy and Williams son was named Patrick Hale he later married someone by the name of Wendy (maiden name unknown) Unfortunately, i dont know dates etc

How sure are you that the baby was born in 1891?

I seriously think we have found the right family. There are no other births for a Uiley/Ulaly Miles apart from the 1885 one...and no sign of her apart from the one we have here.

How accurate is the information you have been given by the person on here?
I've been told lots of things and found them to be fanciful thinking :0))

Just thinking maybe i have the wrong birth record for William then!
My one had a sister named Ada born 1896 in B.Stortford, then 3 brothers:
Ronald Hale (My late grandad) born 1919 B.Stortford - died 2007!
Percy Hale born 1911 B.Stortford
and Horace Hale born 1907 B.Stortford

I guess that truthly, of the above siblings i am only certain of My grandfathers dates etc the rest i have worked with via record searches and relations

This 1891 family are the same ones that Reggie found in 1901.

Elijah Miles died apr qtr 1913 Ware 3a 621.

Julie, I've looked from 1920 through 1927...but none there...which possibly was too early to look.

The William Hale aged 10 i believe is my relation, however i am not sure that it is the correct Miles family because of her age (it would mean that she was 6 when she had William!!
I have been told by someone on here that thinks they are related to me that Uiley was a local Gypsy girl and William was well known for his bare knuckle fighting in the locals etc

On 1891 in Bishops Stortford is this family as Miler;
Elijah Miles 1858 Anstey farmers son
Caroline Ann Miles 1858 Standon
Ellai 1886 Standon dau
Florence Julia 1881 Standon dau
Frederick Charles 1888 Puckeridge.

Next door is a family of Hales. Father is a farm bailiff and there is a son William Hale age 10 :0))
