In view of the dates and the fact that my William was definately born 1891, i doubt that ULICE is my Uiley.
Thanks
Ian

I honestly think your best bet is to wait until you receive the marriage cert...........you will have firm info then about ages, and the names of each of the fathers.

First of all, i dont know that the ULICE is definately my UILEY, secondly i dont understand why you said that a child born 1891 could not be ULICE's!?

You very kindly corrected me yesterday in saying that firstly there was no contraception in those days and secondly it was quite common to have children outside of marriage!

Considering on this census ULICE is 15years old (old enough to carry a child) and the fact that there is a 2 week baby on the census as a GRANDSON, could the GRANDSON not be my William Hale 1891?

Thanks again
Ian

If this is the 'mother' in 1901............there is no way a child born in 1891 is her son...........sorry!

Hasn't the census info already been given to you on one of your other threads?

I'm sure I can recall seeing it...........

Unfortunately, i have no idea as to when they died, i was just told Hertfordshire as where they lived/born/died!

Dorothy and William would have married early 1900's, maybe around 1920's

Thanks

When might they have married?

When might they have died?

You do need to have some idea..............the records are not indexed.

Hi
Can anyone help me, i need a 1891/1901 census record for William Hale he was born 1891 in Bishop's Stortford, his parents were William Hale abt 1871 and Uiley Miles.

I also need a marriage record for him, he married Dorothy Squires, she was born in 1895, they lived in Hertfordshire.

I would also like death records for them both if possible.

Thanks
Ian Hale
