Hi Pat,
I'm related to the Davie family from North Devon. My best link begins with, George Davie, born abt. 1795 Ilfracombe Devon and died 14th June 1881. He married Frances (Fanny) Carder on 1st December 1816. Frances was born abt. 1796, Exmouth Devon and died 26th Aug. 1881.

I know George's father was also named George, born about 1768 and died 4th Oct. 1824. Hid mother's name was Anne, born abt. 1768 and died 16th September, 1849. However, I don't have any more information on these two.

Hope this is some help to you and hope you can give me some more info.

My great grand father was John Davie from Averton Gifford, Devon born 1837. Moved to Middlesex and work for the post office.

I would be intested in any connection and sharing information.

I have a long list of Davie's going back to the 1500's from the Goodleigh and Barnstaple area of North Devon, and would like to share this and get information from anyone interested in the Davie line
