Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 21 Send Message	You may wish to search the dorset archives as I believe that the irish "Powers" decend from John Power or Powers a sailor. Have you looked at the 1871 census ?

	Hello, does anyone know anything more on a Catherine Power (1873- 1925) who married a John Cosgrove (1860) she is my g.g grandma and i know nothing of her family, i believe her to be from county mayo area of ireland. Thankyou, Kelly
