Find Ancestors

Please can anyone help me.She married my great grandfather William Crane and they had one child also called William.I have found William and Jessie Crane listed on the 1901 census when they were both 29.Both according to the census born in Wansworth.However I can not find any further mention of Jessie in any of the earlier censuses.

I suppose the only thing I can do is apply to Wandsworth Surrey for her birth certificate. Any other suggestions??
