I know I have posted this previously and knowing how kind people are on this site I believe someone will have looked for me but even if you can't find anything can you just give me some pointers so I can look myself. I really am at a loss. I'm not even convinced that they were married so perhaps if I could find her death certificate it might lead to some information. Thanks.

I belive my great grandparents were married between children; the first being born 1907 and the second 1920. Unfortunately I have no idea where or when (or even if) they were married. His name was John Alwynne Spencer Cheek and he was from the London area and she was Ada Muff from the west Yorkshire area. I know she worked in South Africa for a while so it could even have been abroad, or on board a ship. Can anyone give me any pointers? I have tried freebmd but there doesn't appear to be any listing.

Thanks in advance.

Bev
