All I know for sure is that he married Jean Johnson on 08/07/1815 at Abbey Paisley. Any help graetly appreciated. Regards Vanessa

	Vanessa You can try and search Scotlandspeople for his Christening, some times in the Margin the birth dates are logged. its a chargable site £6 for 30 Credits. www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk All the best carrie

	Yes she has a lot to do, have you checked she hasn't added a response along with others, she sometimes does that a few replies in one message.

	There are quite a few on BVRI, also but only one that matches birth year exactly: Peter McFarlane born 3 Dec.1794, christened 7 Dec.1794, Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire. Parents Parlane McFarlane & Mary McKeith.
