can someone help?
Daniel Hatherill married Mary Fagan about 1830.
in the 1841 census both aged 25, living in holborn area, Baldwins Gardens, 4 children.

if they are both 25 in 1841 even allowing for the
age rounding off, wouldnt they have been a bit young to marry 1830?

Thats them, does the Pallot's marriage index, give any other details, i.e Parents names?

No, all you get from the Pallot's Index is Names, year (sometimes date) and parish.

To get further details you'll need to get access to the parish records. These are in the LMA (closed until Jan 2008)

You do not get father's name etc on pre-1837 records.

Do try to check the original entry as the names of marriage witnesses can help. Also it will say if they were married by banns or licence.

Did you also check on the IGI on the Mormon site??

Go to Advanced Search, then to International Genealogical Index.


Just be sure that any record you find says EXTRACTED from records, and is not a SUBMITTED record by a church member ... latter ones can be very wrong!

Certainly the baptism records of what are probably their children are on there!
