Hi Maggie,

I can't even get mine on the census, they didn't come over from Ireland until after the 1901 census anyway. Will have to wait for the 1911 census but all the children would be married by then.

Hi Joan,

I have searched all the census on Scotlands people but I don't think my family came over from Ireland until after the 1901 census, so can't get them on census.

Anyway even if I did the family would all be married by the 1911 census and I don't know when that comes out.

I have my grandmother and her sister's marriages and deaths in Dundee, I have her fathers death in Glasgow and he mothers death in Dundee all after the 1901 census. I therefore can't find anything about the family before this in Scotland or Ireland although I know they came from County Down as I have the fathers name in the Street Directories!! Don't know how many children her parents had or any names!!

Anyone else in the same situation?? Sorry just had to have a bit of a moan so fed up with it all!!
