Thank you INis for your help, but one of the names don't match (Janes mother wasn't called Lizzie) I appreicate all you have done though.

The family is the right one that I have too.

Regards
Catherine

Hi
I've done some delving and found out that my great grandma Jane Allen came from Ireland she was born 1874/76, her marriage cert says she was 28 at time of marriage which makes her birth year 1874 but on the cenuses it says ab 1876. They came over here to Whitehaven, Cumberland around 1877.

Her fathers name was William Allen, mother was Jane Allen. She had a sister and brother also born in Ireland, subsequant siblings were born in Whitehaven.

Can anyone help me try to trace back please or guide me in the right direction as I don't know where abouts in Ireland they came from.

Thanks
Catherine
