Thank you Margaret, I have now discovered the kids in IGI for John and Sarah - they were all christened as a job lot in 1842!!!

Please can you tell me are both his parents listed as being born Bradford also?

The single line entry for George Holden in G.R. 1851 census is

HOLDEN GEORGE 15 Bradford, North Bierley

Does he show up with family in the full census record please?
