Today finally i have recieved my Grandads birth cert, Harry Victor Green 1906 Rickmansworth. Is it possible for someone to find his father also Harry Green on a census previous?
My Grandmothers name was Elizabeth Ann Stockham of Talbot Road Rickmansworth not sure if she had any other children other than my Grandad, thankyou for reading my thread xx

I think you need that marriage cert to identify him further theres 49 Harry Greens living in Middlesex on the 1901, non that comes up for uxbridge but then they didnt marry till 1906 so he could have been anywhere

Here is the only Harry in Rickmansworth but how do you know it to be the right one?

If you order the marriage cert using the ref Shirley found then you will have the father's names for both Harry and Elizabeth which will help in confirming which Harry is yours.

you can check that on FreeBMD but the mmn won't show till 1911 so its hit and miss with the name of Green . you could spend a lot on money on certs.
