Hi Judith,

Thank you for looking for me, i think that 1891 was heard wrong i dont think that is her marriage as the 1901 census says Burke and she would of got married as Mary Ann Burke not Farmer, I have found her husbands Patrick Burke death in 1889.

But thank you so much.

Regards Zena

Hi,

Can anyone please find Jane Farmer born 1855 Warwickshire Birmingham in the 1861 1871 census please.

Jane's mother was Mary Ann Farmer born 1834 Warwickshire Birmingham, Jane was illgimate Jane married James Feeney in 1877.

Jane's mother Mary Ann Farmer married Patrick Burke in 1859 Birmingham they was lodging with Thomas Poole in Birmingham in 1861 with daughter Emila, i cant find them either in 1871 or 1881 census.

Mary turns up as a widow in the 1891 1901 census living with Jane, also in the 1901 census there is a Elizabeth Nelson with sons William and John, Elizabeth is down as sister in law the boys are down as nephews. I cant find a link between Elizabeth and Jane. I got the birth certificate for John Nelson his mother was Elizabeth Byron.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you Zena
