Hi all.

Does anyone have any information about a Francis (Frank) Doherty c1900 or his Father; John Doherty ?

Francis was possibly born in Ireland but no one knows for sure, he apparently had an Irish accent.

Francis married Kathleen (Kate) Frances Thompson in 1931 at Richmond, Yorkshire. Had two children; John Clifford Doherty (1934) and Francis Michael Doherty (c1932).

At the time of marriage he was stationed at Catterick Camp Yorkshire in the 1st Battalion of the Irish Guards, school of signals. This must be how he met Kathleen as she was Yorkshire born and bred !

This is all I have, but would love to hear from anybody who might have a lead on this particular Doherty line !
